Katori City is one of the main agricultural production areas in Chiba prefecture. It also has many locally-produced and widely-known specialties, such as fish caught from the Tone River and Japanese sweetmeats, etc.
In addition to this, the produce sold by Michi-no-eki Mizu-no-sato Sawara concentrates on locally-produced agricultural products that place the emphasis on not only authentic taste, but also on the concepts of [Reliable], [Safe] and [Fresh], and we can guarantee that these will fully satisfy all of our customers and lead to long and lasting relationships.

Message from the Staff

Michi-no-eki Mizu-no-sato Sawara, which offers panoramic views over the Tone River, transports vegetables produced by Katori City farmers under the slogans of [Reliable], [Safe] and [Fresh]directly from the fields to us.
We offer a wide range of processed products and local specialties using locally-produced materials available. The motto of our Food Court, which serves the produce of four different shops, is [Yummy!]
